How do I change my major?

Spring is coming!!!! REALLLY.



This question has come up a lot lately. How do I change my major? If you are undecided, you will still need to fill out a change of major form to declare a program.

To change your major you need to:

1. Pick up a change of major form at the front desk of the Advisement Center Office - 11 Bowman Hall


2. Print out an unofficial copy of your transcript from Access Stout to attache to the form


3. Many programs have additional requirements - i.e., statement of goals or 2.0 or 2.5 GPA.


4. Return the above materials to the front desk. Your application will be submitted to the department and you will get an e-mail within 10 days on the results.
   

Also, students are asking about registration for summer.

1. Check out summer courses on open course listings on Access Stout.


2. You should have received an e-mail advising you when you can register according to your credits.


3. Registration begins on February 25th, so your date will be based on the number of credits you have (the more credits, the sooner you register)
